Other Dynamic Web Tools
Below is an example of another Web 2.0 tool called Prezi. In Technology For Teachers we will have discussed Web 2.0 tools, their nature of being dynamic web instead of static web, and a project is centered around it. Prezi was chosen as an example because it represents a new wave of presentation capability amongst educators and businesses that moves away from standard PowerPoint. Prezi is also highlighted because, similarly to Scribd (see Embed Documents), it has the option to log in with a Facebook account. More importantly, you can choose to set it up from scratch and have the benefit of more features and support for free if it is linked to a confirmed education institution by email and website information.
The example below was created by David Oliveira, April 15, 2012. It was chosen because of its appropriateness in addressing another important topic in TFT: use of tablets. It comments on the use of Prezi with iPads, and made it to the top 7 of 'prezis'. Prezis employ zooming and a unified concept structure to hold the interest of viewers.
